Administration
The Elder Council handles the business interests of the Company known as "The Council of 100" by way of monthly meetings. Progress, milestones, document changes etc., If the Elder Council feels that any matter is important enough it may refer the issue to a full Council of 100 vote.
All Elder Council roles are elected offices (with the exception of Lord Mayor) and to hold an office you must be a committed & verified member of The Council of 100. CoE officers will receive a small stipend from the company that will be flexible according to the profits/ losses of the company. This stipend will not take effect until the Co100 is complete.
Offices will be held for 2 years with a 2 consecutive term maximum. You can run again after holding another office for 2 years or taking 2 years off.
There are 5 roles with 1 vote each. This will eliminate ties but we should also allow for the addition of another officer for any reason in the future if the Council of 100 deems it necessary.
Lord Mayor/ General Manager
Edward D. Robinson a.k.a. Phoenix Blaze
This is my position. As the Founder of the company my role as General Manager of the property will allow me to handle the day-to-day running of the land and construction of the village. To direct the project into a money making business with the added benefit of land ownership for every council member. That's my promise to you.
I will receive a $50 a week stipend from the company for living expenses starting the day I move onto the property full time. I'll be there night and day digging and mowing and cementing and running electric lines. I need something to eat occasionally! lol A good part of this will probably go to buying food and stuff for work parties.
Since I am starting this whole thing off and buying the first share myself my little piece will be the "Pub" in front. I plan to build a nice little cross between a coffee shop and a medieval pub so you can always get a good hot cup of coffee in the mornings. That's what I get from all this. My little cafe. In the beginning we can use it to cook feasts and meals for work parties.
As the Lord of the Manor I will preside over Baronial Court every 6 months.
Can be ousted by a vote of no confidence by the Council of 100 at a Leet Court with at least 85% of voting shares attending after the Co100 is complete.
The Council of Elders may then establish a new order retiring my role to the title of "Lord Emeritus" and I get my 1 share of land and 1 vote in the business, just like everyone else, to retire on.

Reeve/ Council Head
Answers to the Council of 100. This role is the voice of the people. Charged to communicate with and represent the will of the Council of 100 at Elder Council meetings.
The Reeve also presides over the Leet Court. Leet court should be scheduled as needed to satisfy the needs of the Council of 100 members. At the least every 2 months.
Leet Court may be held on the internet for now. Especially during our early formative period this will allow us the easiest communication among so many people in so many different locations.
The Reeve works closely with the other officers to facilitate open communication between Co100 members and the CoE officers.
Bailiff/ Liaison
This office works with the city and secures permissions and permits. This office also handles all advertising, community service, Non-Profit donations, educational field trips and other public projects. Very much a public face of the company this role should be someone comfortable working with municipalities and local officials.
This office works closely with the Herald to maintain an up-to-date web presence for the Fief.
Herald/ Secretary
The keeper of the records. Works closely with the other officers to maintain a clear and available record of all company business.
All Co100 members should have access to a current financial accounting and copy of meeting minutes available either by request in the case of sensitive information or by post on the internet for public documents.
I believe in full clarity of all business details and the Heralds job is to keep these details on file.
As in Renaissance times the Office of the herald also keeps track of awards and personal/ household heraldry.
Exchequer/ Treasurer
Oh great keeper of the coin purse! Handler of the funds. Works closely with the other officers to maintain clear financial records.
Keep track of who's in and how many shares they have. Handles the loan and banking issues. Responsible for billing and profit splitting.
Responsible for the minting and accounting of a Fief coinage.
